Galaxy is a peento (saucer-shaped or “flat”) freestone peach with white flesh and a sweet, low acid flavor. Galaxy ripens in mid-to-late June, and is larger, firmer and more attractive than the Stark Saturn variety, which ripens at the same time. Estimated chilling requirement 500 to 600 hours.
