Plant Sizing Guide

Tree Aloe (or Torch Aloe) forms a large colony of numerous trunked rosettes with sharply toothed leaves that curl backwards towards the base of the plant. Individual rosettes grow to be about 18 inches wide while the entire plant forms a living wall 6 to 9 feet tall and wide. Pale teeth stand out along the edges of bright green foliage, and in early winter, the rosettes bloom with large cylindrical racemes of coral red flowers. Grow in sandy, gravelly, or rocky well-drained soil as it naturally grows in mountainous areas on rocky outcrops and cliffs. Drought and salt tolerant. Attracts bees and hummingbirds.
