Island Alum Root
Heuchera maxima, commonly known as Island Alum Root, is an evergreen perennial native to the northern Channel Islands of California. Known as the largest species in the Heuchera genus, it is prized in landscaping for its lush, mounding green foliage and airy clusters of pinkish-white flowers that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators.
