Orange Sherbert Mango
The Orange Sherbet mango is sought-after mango cultivar developed in Boynton Beach, Florida by renowned breeder Gary Zill. It originated as a seedling of the popular 'Lemon Meringue' mango, making it a close sibling to the famous 'Lemon Zest' variety. It is celebrated for its dessert-like flavor profile that tastes like a citrusy, orange-flavored frozen push pop or orange ice cream. The fruit is medium-sized, oval-oblong, and ripens to a brilliant yellow skin that hides a juicy, fiberless, deep orange-hued flesh. Because of its high disease resistance and outstanding flavor, it has quickly become a popular choice for backyard growers and edible landscapes.
