Plant Sizing Guide

The Torbay Dazzler Grass Palm (Cordyline australis 'Torbay Dazzler') is an evergreen that brings a bright, architectural flair to any landscape. It has long, sword-like leaves that feature a vibrant center of medium green, bordered by wide, creamy-white or pale yellow margins. As it matures, it develops a palm-like trunk that may eventually branch out to create a multi-headed silhouette.

Because of its upright and arching habit, it is frequently used as a dramatic focal point in Mediterranean-style gardens, coastal landscapes, or as a centerpiece in large ornamental containers. This plant is tough and adaptable. Once established, it is resistant to salt spray and wind, making it a favorite for seaside properties. In late spring or early summer, mature specimens produce large, showy panicles of tiny, star-shaped white flowers that are sweetly scented and highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
